Hello everyone, thank you for your interest in learning Japanese at the Ottawa Japanese Language School.

You can now register for the Fall 2022 semester here. Please note that these classes will be held in-person. There are currently no plans to offer classes virtually online.

Fall 2022 Plan

The Ottawa Japanese Language School plans to return to in-person classes for the fall 2022 semester. Classes will be on Saturday mornings from 09:30 to 12:00. Registration will be done online and will be open from August 5th to August 15th.

Online Adult Summer Courses for Summer 2022

The Ottawa Japanese Language School is pleased to announce that we will be offering online courses this summer.

Courses: Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Intermediate, Advanced (please note that this is dependent on the number of applicants and we reserve the right to cancel and issue refunds for classes under six students)

Cost: $150 CAD

Class Times: June 4th, 2022 to July 30th, 2022, Saturdays from 09:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

Registration: May 7th to May 14th

Winter 2022 Registration Update

The winter 2022 semester is starting soon and classes will be held virtually online via either Zoom or Google Meet.

Registration for Winter 2021

2021-01-28 Update: Winter registration is now closed as we have reached our teaching capacity. OJLS thanks everyone for their interest and support. Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you again next semester.

Returning students will receive instructions from their teachers on how to register. Please register within the designated window to save your spot.

For new students, registration will begin on Friday, January 29th. Please contact Ms. Kobayashi at kouchou@ojls.ca for a placement test to determine the best course for you to enrol in. Further instructions will be provided upon completion of this placement test.

Please note that we reserve the right to suspend the registration process without notice should the number of registratnts exceed the class's capactiy. Thank you for your understanding.
