Registration

Classes

Registration is usually on the second Saturday of September for the first semester in fall and on the fourth Saturday of January for the second semester in spring. Hours for registration day are the same than normal class days, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM, and are located at the school. To know exactly when and where, see the Calendar and Location pages.

If you cannot make it on registration day, but still wish to attend classes, you can bring your registration form with your payment at school on a later day and give it to your teacher, principal, or any board member.

School fees for fall and spring semesters are as follows:

• Children (4 to 12 years old), $110.00 per semester ($220.00 for a year of two semesters)
• Youth (13 to 18 years old), $130.00 per semester ($260.00 for a year of two semesters)
• Adult (19 years old and up), $160.00 per semester ($320.00 for a year of two semesters)

The fees depend on the age of the registrant and not on the age group a class is accommodating. For example, a 16-year-old youth student, with a high proficiency of Japanese, can still register for an adult class at the same price for youth listed above. Scolarship

Each year, the school offers one $300.00 scholarship to the student who successfully competes for it. The deadline for registration is on January 31 every year.
